I really, really like the keyboard on the Dell Latitude E6410.

What is the latest Dell laptop onto which I could install an E6410 keyboard?

A 7-series would be great, but those keyboards look different.

The E6410 keyboard only works with machines in the same generation.

Dell updated the chassis and keyboard after that so it's electrically and mechanically incompatible with later models.

That sucks. I find no improvement whatsoever in the new keyboard.

The arrows are smaller and I continuously mis-press them.
Home and End must be pressed with Fn now.
    The Enter key is smaller.
    etc.

Part of the reason why the keyboard on 6410 is the solid chassis underneath that supports it. That is also the reason why my current favourite is still the 6x20/30 series that uses full voltage processor that i find more responsive than many current laptops that come with ULV processor. On the other hand I do find the keyboard on the E5440 is not too bad. I suppose the more chunky build that makes it feels better then them keys on E7440.
One feels the weight of a laptop only when one carries it and not when one actually works on one! Just my thought.
