    i'm getting conflicting information on the screen for the 3550. Does anyone know for sure if the new sandy bridge vostros have a matte or glossy screen?

    although its showing the previous model, the new vostros will be the same as there will be no change in design.

    according to Dell Customer Service, new Vostro 3350 with Sandy Bridge CPU will be available, in Italy, in the first days of April.

    let's see....

    Wow, was thinking about getting a Latitude E6320 then this comes along retaining the Expresscard and featuring USB 3.0 ports! But what CPUs are supported... no discrete GPU, I take it?

    you can configure it with 2nd generation i3 all the way up to i7. Discrete is also available. still think its a little pricey for a dell.

    finally also in Italy is now possible to configure and buy the new 3350

    how much is it in Italy? configuring with i5 and 1gb discrete graphics.

    i configured a 3450 with i5 and discrete in UK and the total came to nearly 800pounds. Very pricey i think.

    does anyone know if they fixed the "always on fan" issue, which the 3400 and 3500 suffered from, which they( to my knowledge) never fixed??
