    I think it's been around for a while; I've noticed it a few times in the past - on the .co.uk site.

    I assume it's a replacement for the basic Vostro 1000 model.

    Afraid not.

    Only things I heard was that the are boxed and sent out from I think ,China without any assembly in the West and a complaint about slow delivery.
