I downloaded the new Nvidia driver last night from DELL (not even knowing if I needed it).
The weirdest thing is now happening; I have a 6400 docked with two external displays and when my screens shut off and my screen saver comes on, I cant get one of the monitors to turn back on. Its like it loses its signal completely.

The left monitor however, works fine but I cant access the start menu to shut down or see any of my icons. I have to hold the power button down and restart the computer to get the right monitor on again.

So...I went into my driver file and deleted the nvidia driver, but the problem is still occurring?

    Delete your Driver?

You should uninstall the driver over Control Pannel
be carefull if you have also an nvidia chipset that you don't uninstall that drivers to. (didn't know exactly if dell build Mainboards with that Chipsets on it)

Use a tool like this to totaly remove all files from the nvidia Driver.

also take a look at http://laptopvideo2go.com/ the forum there is realy great relating to all kind of Nivida Driver Problems, they also have the best modified drivers.

    reinstall the driver you want.

    regards
    Christopher
