New M6500 Discussion Thread

Has Dell also implemented SATA 3 in the new models besides USB 3? I know mine will have the latter but there is no mention about the SATA interface anywhere.

Sorry but no SATA 3 on this generation.

can the replacement be done by ourselfs or would we need a Dell technician?

I read some posts where people had problems to get USB3 working on Win7 x64. Should it work on 64-bit Windows 7?

For some USB3 seems to work and there was some debate on wether to use the Win7 driver update mechanism or install the NEC USB3 driver downloadable from Dell for the m6500. Which is the correct way?
