    Hey there!

Came accross my first gripe with my new E6400; looks like the Checkpoint VPN-1 Securemote software we use at my workplace is overriden by something maybe in the DCP...

The software is loading fine at the startup - I can see it in the icon bar at the bottom, but at some point, it just disappears, probably overriden by the DCP or something.

If I go through the connection manager (which I have no freaking idea how it works - is Wifi supported yet?), there is an option to load a VPN with a profile and there is a securemote option. But the configuration doesn't give me what I am looking for like for my site management in the original software.

Anyway, has someone had any luck getting connected to a VPN with a Securemote key FOB from RSA SecurID?

    Thanks!

I got the same situation you had. I have uninstalled Dell Connection Manager and it worked fine for me.

If after reboot and you have the problem on the right click option in the CheckPoint icon in the task bar then you should edit C:\Program Files\CheckPoint\SecuRemote\database\userc.C to set following parameters with a value of false and then restart the machine.

    :connect_mode (false)
    :connect_api_support (false)

I have been having the same issue. I have an open case with Check Point and they have been nothing but worthless over the last 2 weeks!

I had to uninstall Connection Manager to get it to work and then must reinstall Secure Remote.

The company still doesn't have support for 64bit OS!

Yup thanks guys! I still haven't noticed the possibility to only uninstall the connection manager, which looks like a piece of junk in its actual state... No wifi support? Maan.

So everything is fine now. Without the connection manager :).
