secondly, is there any huge problems with the e6400 that i should be worried about?

third, im going to upgrade the hd and the ram and was wondering which one would be better to do first? and can anyone suggest a pretty quiet 7200 rpm hd for pretty cheap? i dont need a big one but hoping to get like atleast 250 gigs. also should i just buy a 2 gig stick of ram and just have 3 gigs of ram or buy a 2 x 2gig kit and have 4 gigs? also can anyone suggest some decent ram.

and lastly, has anyone overclocked the 160m? and how much did u overclock it?

You did OK. I like my deal better, though :).

Adding RAM is easy and you want to do it first. You can get another 2G for about $20 these days, plus tax.

I have everything you have, except:

    Fingerprint sensor
    4GB RAM
    Backlit keyboard
    250GB 7200 rpm HD
    Intel 5300 WiFi
    ExpressCard

For about $70 more, assuming your price does not include tax. I'm thinking of returning it, though, because I like the Intel graphics better. Much cooler and quieter.

I would start with upgrading to 3GB and leave the second 2GB module for later. 4GB will give you a bit more usable memory (which you may not need) and a small improvement in memory bandwidth (full dual channel) which is only detectable using benchmarks.
