Hmm, intersting. I don't use the eSATA port so I guess IRRT and AHCI are not essential for me. So would IMSM be useless if I were operating in ATA mode? I guess my next question then is do I really need it? I can't seem to get my latency issues under control (IMSM thread) and I listen to music constantly so the audio problems really bother me. Is there a way to switch to ATA mode without reinstalling Vista?

On an unrelated topic - even though I've been using my FP reader, I've decided that at this point it's not worth keeping DCP installed just for FP reader functionality. So this means I can uninstall the Security Manager. Do I really need the System Manager? I'd love to just scrap all DCP software at this point. Would I have no power saving options if I got rid of this? Also, currently I have the FP reader enabled with preboot authentication - I can't seem to figure out how to disable all the security crap - do I not need to worry about disabling everything before I uninstall or just uninstall DCP. I'm a little cautious just because I don't want to be unable to boot/login.
