    Hey yall,

I need help on trying to replace a keyboard for a Dell Latitude C610. I contacted Dell and got a part number of 1R968. What I want to know is what is a reputable seller of Dell parts where I could purchase the replacement. I have tried calling to do it through Dell, but after waiting on the phone for more than 45 minutes and not speaking with any warm body, I thought I would seek yalls advice here of an alternative. Any help is appreciated.

Well, you could always look on ebay, they may not be genuine parts, but if it's just a keyboard, they work the same. I've done this myself with an HP and a Dell. Both keyboards were as good as new. They just used a different scissor style. They're usually only 10-25$. As for going through Dell, you might want to talk to a representative in tech support and ask to buy a replacement keyboard.

If you go on eBay and search for good-rated sellers, its actually ok. I know of many resellers who sell on eBay.
