    Hi everyone,

Recently I bought a dell precision 7710 without the Pcie SSD, I want add a retail SSD to this laptop. Don't know what the thermal pad thickness and screws size and model for the pcie SSD slot.

besides that, is there any other good option besides Samsung 950 pro? As I know this pcie dirve has some serious heating and performance issue due to thermal throttling if no proper thermal pad added.

I also asked those questions to the dell pro support service(I bought this with the laptop), but they told me without the service tag they can't access this information, since My laptop is still in production and not delivery to my hand.
