I just bought a Dell E6410. Specs are pretty good - Intel Core i7 620M, Nvidia NVS 3100M, 320 GB HD, 4 GB RAM, webcam, and my favorite feature - the higher resolution 1440 x 900 16:10 display. I don't like the 16:9 displays as much.

Anyway, it's a great laptop. It runs a little hotter than I expected. I have an older E6500 with the Intel Core2 Duo T9550 and Nvidia NVS 160 that doesn't get as hot.

The E6410's keyboard is significantly hotter, with overal CPU and GPU temps hotter than my other Latitude. Is this normal?

I upgraded the BIOS to A12. It had Rev A04 when I got it.

Also, I notice one of the cores on this dual-core i7 works more than the other, and is a little hotter. Is that normal as well?

    Thanks
