Since he is doing the reassemble at your house, I'd suggest you handle him the best thermal dissipation paste you may access (they use regular OEM ones).
Doing this your notebook may achieve from 2° to 8°C lower temp readings, less fan noise and longer component's life, as compared with what the common thermal paste would provide.

It's done and it appears that the problem has been corrected.

Once the tech arrived I demonstrated the heat issues again. Temps were monitored using Real Temp.

    Idle temps were @ 155f
100% load using LoadTester included with RealTemp, it would spike to the 190's, throttle down, etc. There was no attempt to shut down or temperature events in the bios.
At the peak temps, the fan would turn on, but very very slow..

    Parts replaced:
    Lower metal chassis
Palmrest including fingerprint swipe and touchpad
All daughter cards (modem, LAN, SD, etc)
    i7-640m cpu
    motherboard
Basically everything except the hard drive, screen, battery and optical drive were replaced.

Idle temps now are @ 99-110deg
    Mild load (40-50%)@ 120-125deg
Full load @ 160-165deg. Also running iTunes, Outlook 2010, and Corel Video Studio Pro rendering HD video in thebackground.

If it was going to overheat, it certainly would do so with all that running. The HDD was running like H too during that "test".

This is quite impressive. The computer has never ran this cool under such a load. Ever.

100% CPU/Memory load for nearly 30 minutes and staying under 175deg.

Probably a bit late in the day for this thread but I had similar heating problems with mine which seem to be much better since upgrading to A15 bios.
