Hi, I just installed Windows 7 in my M6400, the standard configuration is:

    - 410 Bluetooth + UWB
    - Fingerprint
    - Web Camera

I've installed already the drivers for:

    - Intel Chipset
    - Intel SATA
    - FX3700 (from Dell for Vista x64)

I still have some missing drivers, see attached Device Manager screen shot, please could you give me some hints how to identify them ?, thanks a lot

Right-click the item you want to identify, go to properties go to details and select hardware ids.
Google for the name of the device. (i.e. PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0649 = "NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT")

Try the Ricoh drivers from Dell. Those are the ones i have to install under Vista to get all the "Base System Device" to go away.
