Media/Modular bay battery for E6400

Hi,

Does anyone know if there exists a mediabay battery for the Dell E6400 which I can swap with the DVD drive? If not, are the old D-series bay batteries still compatible?

The media bay on the new Latitudes is only for an optical drive, second HDD or weight saver, it doesn't support modular batteries. They dropped that option, which, in my opinion, wasn't exactly a wise decision since I liked that option.

Now they offer a 12-cell battery slice, which attaches to the bottom of the notebook, and which may not be to everyone's likeing.

None of the Latitude D-series accessories work for the E series.
