    My options : CPU T9400, GPU nvs 160m,ram 2GB, 6cell..

    How about the maximum battery life for this configuration?
    Please!!Help me confirm this test...all reply are appreciated!!:eek:

    The T9400 will be worse for power than the P series processor. If you want better battery life get a P9XXX.

    The video card will also eat more power. I would not expect your battery life to be great on this laptop.

    My config (with the P series processor though) lasts about 4h of movie watching, so with light usage you should be getting the same.

    Do your config have a nvidia gpu? if your config have nvidia gpu so your battery life as you said is great!!

    The T series CPUs also have higher idle and sleep power consumptions compared with the P series, so I would reduce the assumed run time with the T series CPU by 20%. You may, however, be lucky if you get a T series CPU which actually meets the P series specs.
