    Hi,
If I remember correctly the m6700 covet edition had a IPS RGB screen. Does the m6800 covet have the same screen? If not, is it's screen any better than the standard 1080p screen?
    Thanks

The Precision M6800 Covet has a FHD Touch screen with 10 finger support. It is a 72% sRGB panel.

No, Dell doesn't produce any real Covet versions anymore. Other than a different color case you get nothing. They're not even matching the RGBLED screen that my M6400 Covet has. You need to get an HP ZBook now if you want a superior machine, is my guess. And of course, nobody will sell you a 16:10 screen anymore. The industry has forgotten that their job is to make users want to buy their wares. Oh well.

P.S.: Ten-finger touch support? Who the hell cares, nobody wants a touchscreen on a laptop.

... you can still get a 16:10 panel in an MBPr... whether 16:10 is what OP wants I dunno. It obviously isn't RGB either.

    The Truth.

In a land where everyone sells basically the same product, all we have left is our (low cost) novelty. Those things that really matter (like a high color gamut display), just don't command enough profit.
