    Hello Forum!
I got an offer from my friend about an Dell M6700 (i7-3720QM; 32GB Ram; 512GBSSD and AMD Fire Pro M6000Mobility).
Now the questions for me - is it possible to upgrade the graphic card to K4000M? Yes, but is a new heatsink also necessary or is the old one (from the M6000M) possible to use them for the K4000M?
    Thank you and best regards
    Moach

You can swap the GPU out but you will need to locate an NVIDIA GPU heatsink. The M6700 has different heatsinks for AMD and NVIDIA GPUs.

Have you tried calling Dell, they are usually pretty open to shipping parts to people, I got a 55 W CPU heatsink that way.

Eurocom seems to sell complete GPU upgrade kits for the M6700, including 970M, 980M and a couple of Quadros: http://www.eurocom.com/ec/upgrade(2,371,0)ec

Perhaps you can contact them and see if they will sell you the correct heatsink/bracket. Or you could just buy one of their GPU+kits.
