    Looking over the M6700.

Anyone have experience using the Mobility Solid State Drive with hardware encryption? I'd like this next machine to be moving parts free. I was considering doing sw encyrption and wondered how stable the hw encrypted solid state drives are.

Also, I was considering getting the 250G since the 512G seems pretty pricey. Do I understand correclty that I can buy them at a later date when prices come down and install (similar to hd's) in addition to the primary drive?

That took me a while longer than i'd like to reply to this. I can't really answer your first question. however, for the second one, you can upgrade the SSDs/drives in the M6700 very easily. As such, you should buy the SSD(s) separately. You'll save a lot of money that way.
