    Ok thank you

For usb I am pretty sure that the problem is hardware, the usb card, because of 4 usb just one works during installation so I should remove the main card to check if at least I have one usable usb port, and then buy a new one card.

I will let you about installation from dell instead from other pc, in middle time thanks

So many thanks , finally I was able to install from usb Os and seeing Usb (motherboard part) working normal.

The issue was Raid to Ahci.

Now I have to modify the part of nvdia driver to make working my nvidia m3000m.

But my system is based on legacy so the format of my hd is not gpt , this can be influence on installation ?

No, this will make no difference for NVIDIA driver installation.

    Hello,

    I finally found and bought a M4000m.

    It is a dell one : DELL 4XR03 / N16e Q3 A1
Since it is not a HP or Msi card do i have to even modify ".inf" drivers files?
Furthermore do i have to modify heatskin or something else?
I also bought thermal pad and Arctic Mx5

Thx by advance for your answers.

You will have to modify the INF file. (See: http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...0-owners-thread.820539/page-253#post-10937563).
If you had an NVIDIA card before then you should be good to use your existing heatsink without modification.

    Thanks,
    I have actually a K4000m.
Can i use the more recent nvidia drivers or i need old dell ones?
So basically i have to install drivers > install the card > restart with optimus activated > mod inf files?

Install card, mod INF file, install drivers. (You will not be able to install the driver without modding the INF first.) Doesn't really matter if Optimus is on or not, your preference.

I m sorry to ask you so many quesitons but i m pretty newb with this.

With the actually driver i found the file in "c:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\File Repository\nvdmwi.inf"

For example i have to change for whole sections all strings containing 0FFB (k4000m) by 13F9 (M4000m) for each line ending by 153E (M6700) 1028 (Dell) ?

    [NVIDIA_Devices.NTamd64.10.0...14310]
    from
    %NVIDIA_DEV.0FFB.153E.1028% = Section048, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0FFB&SUBSYS_153E1028
    to
    %NVIDIA_DEV.0FFB.153E.1028% = Section048, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_13F9&SUBSYS_153E1028

Assuming m4000m is not delivery with M6700 do i have to change computer ID too?
