Got my M6600 today. RAM upgrade worked fine, swapped the primary HDD with a fresh SSD, and failed to install Window :-(

Should it be possible to install Window 7 Professional x64 withg UEFI boot?
Is the type of install (uefi vs. legacy) just determined by selecting to boot from "legacy dvd" or "uefi dvd"?
I tried to re-install twice by booting the dell recovery dvd in uefi mode. First attempt was stuck after the first part of the installation as soon as windows setup tried to reboot, second attempt was stuck after the second reboot by the setup (just a black screen).

Also I wonder if my brand new SSD is defective: It (sometimes?) does not show as "Primary Hard Drive" in th BIOS' system information (just prints {none}), even though it is recognized by the windows installer. (Transcend SSD720 256GB).
