    Hi

I think I may have a problem with my screen and was wondering if anyone else has the same issue?

Whenever I slightly change the angle of the screen on my M6600 I get the sound from windows you get when you plug in/unplug a USB device. Could this be due to some loose connection or something? The computer shouldn't be able to tell that I've moved the screen should it?

I've also noticed that if I twist the screen very slightly (e.g. when tilting it forward or back with one hand on one corner), the blacks on the screen get much brighter in a patch across the screen. I put a video of it on youtube.

    Thanks

I've found out what the sound is - it's the webcam connecting and disconnecting - must be a loose connection inside the screen surround.

Also noticed a bit of light leak from the bottom corners of the RGB LEDs behind the screen - blue/green tint in bottom right corner and reddish in bottom left corner, just about noticeable on a white screen. Is this normal for the IPS screen?

    Thanks

Call Dell and get the screen replaced. That's not normal IMHO. If you feel comfortable messing with the beast, try re-seating the lcd and camera connectors.
