Those cards are fully compatible man no worries (k3000m, k4000m, k5000m), i just searched around the sub for a bit before i decided to try it. Just make sure its a dell part so you don't have to mess with flashing any bios or anything of that sort.

Also yes that processor will work no problem

That words sound like angels in the heaven, I was very worried because I don’t want amd m6100 anymore, And I read that you already tested without issues, dell guys never give me any information they send me a very old information of dell 3000m and 5010m as last possibility to upgrade, and good to know that 2860qm is a compatible upgrade for 2640m. I just was wondering me if you can share the gpu thermal pad placement that you use in your upgrade and also thickness, brand and w/mk. I will Appreciated

Have you actually tried it yet? M6600 does not work with any NVIDIA cards Kepler and up due to a BIOS issue, you are stuck with the cards that were originally available with it or newer AMD cards.

Are you sure about that? Are you sure that you aren't thinking of the m3000m, m4000m, etc cards?

Many people have put k3000m - k5000m cards into their m6600s. Even the 680m will work as far as i know.

Attached is a pic of when i first put the card in and ran gpu-z

Not totally sure, obviously you have it working, so that is something...
There's a whole thread here about upgrade options for the M4600 and no Kepler or Maxwell cards were found to be working (http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/possible-gpu-upgrade-for-precision-m4600.772547/) and I have previously read pretty much the same story about M6600 upgrade attempts, but maybe the M4600 is worse off than the M6600 for GPU upgrades for some reason.

So with that I will say, make sure that you get a card that you can return if it doesn't work, and make sure that you get a Dell card for the best chance of success, and maybe it'll work after all...
