I've looked through the forums, so forgive me if I missed the post that might have answered this question. I have a M6500 that has the 2800 GPU. I've taken the laptop apart to give it a good cleaning and reapply thermal grease to the CPU. I figured while I was at it that I should maybe do the same for the GPU.

I need a hex head to pry the heatsink off, but before I did (I need to get one that will fit) I wanted to know if anyone had done this before? I'd hate to remove it and find out that I can't apply grease or there are thermal pads that I destroy and then have to get replacements and all that jazz.

Anyone do this? Got pics? Thanks!
