    Hi folks,

    Just out of curiosity (I won't buy a new laptop for a few years I hope), what's the difference between the Precision M6400 and the Precision M6400 Covet?

    One difference: the covet's orange bar looks beautiful :)

    this has been asked many times but basically the covet starts at a higher priced options.

    you can config a m6400 up to a covet's specs without the color whereas you cannot downspec a covet to the basic of all basic m6400...

    i chose to go m6400 with bare min in RAM and HDD for aftermarket upgrades from newegg.com

    so... you're paying for the color... and that's bout it...
