M6400 Question and Answer Thread *ASK AWAY*

I am a Dell Certified Tech which means I have full access to the Dell Certified Systems Expert Website which has FULL documentation of ALL Dell Products that they use to train Techs for warranty replacement of parts.

They have the M6400 already listed with FULL Specs and the RTS Date which is 9/24/2008 which means usually the day of or after that it will be available to purchase.

I am sure people have seen some of the pictures floating around and if you happen to like the Orange one you better be on your toes and ready with a Credit Card when they get released because Dell is only making 2000 of the Blood Orange ones all the rest will be Silver. I will be posting all SPECS and other information along with some more pics available to me later on tonight.

But in the mean time fire away with any questions you might have *EXCEPT FOR PRICE* and I will try my best to give you the quickest and most accurate answer I can.

 

I'm a Dell CSE as well, but if you look at the page, it says clearly:

Reproduction in any manner whatsoever without the written permission of Dell Computer Corporation is strictly forbidden.

I suspect the mods will frown on this thread until the M6400 is publicly available.

Any idea how long after placing an order it will ship, especially with the faster mobile quad core which seems to be tricky to get hold of at the moment?

 

Yeah I get a feeling you're not allowed to do this, unless you have a different case?

Anyways, I do have 1000000 questions about this. Sounds like something will finally beat the Sager NP9262. I wish I knew the base price for this, but I guess we'll ask more specific questions if it's allowed.

But the more important thing is, what does it take to be your friends, Dell techs ?
