    hi there,

I've been off the boards for a while as I've been enjoying my Covet. However, I noticed on the "Gadget show" that NVidia have released 3d glasses. I was delighted at the chance of playing couter strike, left4dead etc in gloroius 3d!

However, does anyone know if the Quadro in the Covet can be used with this system?

The link does mention something about a driver later in the Spring, but I wondered whether anyone had tried this?

    Thanks!

Even if a driver becomes available, which is likely, you would need an external monitor as the internal on the M6400 is 60 Hz.

    Recommended Desktop Displays:
    Samsung® SyncMaster 2233RZ 120 Hz LCD display
    ViewSonic® FuHzion™ VX2265wm 120 Hz LCD display
100 Hz and higher analog CRTs

Yup, I realise that I'd need an external screen. My concern was whether the Quadro would be able to run 3DVision straight away or not. Anyone tried?

I have to say, I'm finding it hard to source a 120hz LCD monitor!
