    I'm starting to think that Vista x64 has audio problems with CP Connection Manager, and Vista 32 has problems with a different component. There is another thread somewhere where people got audio stutters on a different driver install, one that gave me no problems, but Connection Manager gave them no problems. (But, I can't recall that 64 bit or 32 bit vista was ever specified.)

    Could be. Aside from the startup audio stutter (which doesn't happen everytime) it plays audio just fine (vista 64bit for info).
