Has anyone else been able to use the e-Sata port while running under RAID mode?

I found a KB article on dell's support site that alludes to the fact that the e-Sata port may not be available under RAID.

Can you provide a link to the KB article?

I have two drives in RAID 0 on M6400 running XP-64. I've used the eSATA port with very little in the way of problems. The only thing I've seen is my cable may not always plug in securely to the port on the M6400 which caused some issues until I discovered that. The drive on eSATA is not part on my RAID array.

It works on the e-Sata port on the docking station. I still have yet to get it to work on the USB/e-Sata combo port.

    Thanks.

I've not tried the port on the dock, yet...

I think the article describes the eSATA port only being usable when RAID or AHCI mode is enabled. Having the SATA ports set to ATA (for legacy support) probably results in not all ports being visible to BIOS (my desktop works like that, I only get all six ports with RAID or AHCI).
