M6400 Covet - 64bit?

    I have been debating on the Covet for a while. Anyhow, I recently noticed that you can not configure a 64bit covet any more, which results in not being able to configure more than 4GB Ram. Also, the covet has only a few specified configurations that are allowed.

    Is there an issue with the 64bit? Anyone know why Dell removed the 64bit options?

    As far as I Know ther is no Issue with 64Bit
    My Covet running fine with Vista Ultimate 64 Bit

    But there is a issue with Dells Website Configurators, they often has wrong constraints set.

    So call them if you want to order or you have some questions abaout the possible configurations

    If in USA then pick the Large Business option (regardless you have a business, large or small!)- there you can configure everything...

    Other country? I don't know...
