    Hi guys. Forum re-design...interesting.

I'm having an issue with my speakers. I can't say how long it's been going on because rarely use my speakers to be honest. There's a high-pitched sound that comes out of the speakers. I can't really reproduce it reliably. It doesn't happen as soon as you start playing sound/music out of the speakers.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I called Dell support and they're going to replace the palm rest which includes the speakers. The parts list, however, also contains what seems to be a motherboard ("MB (order SVC Kit 964GK)", Part number "8YFGW"). So we'll see how that goes.
