Has any one experienced a similar problem on their m4600 system? I've been getting audio drop outs that are irregular. Audio would stutter for half a second during these instances. Disabling Wifi and ethernet adaptor doesn't seem to eliminate this problem.

Currently on A08 bios. I did a fresh OS reinstall of Windows 7 x64 but the problem seems to come back up again.

Try the Pro Audio power plan. If that doesn't work (don't think it will), you probably have a hardware problem and should contact Dell.

Does it happen in a non-Windows environment, such as Linux? If it does then you have a hardware issue. Sounds like DPC latency issue..
