    Hi again everyone,

    i am using intel proset wireless utility to manage the connections. however i dont see any option in the DCP to allow it to take the control.

    i am starting to understand that DCP is not that much of a usefull tool. but since i have the new laptop i want to check all functions...

    You can still use DCP for other options but uninstall the DCP connection manager. Thing is that DCP doesn't really add any funcionality except for the fingerprintreader but i think you can even get that too work without DCP.
    The benefit of DCP is that you have different kinds of settings combined in one interface. All things like the power settings etc. can all be found in the OS itself same as in DCP. And i found DCP too work/respond VERY slow at times
