    Hi there,
I'm having a problem getting my Mobile Broadband module to work.
The M4400 got shipped with a sim-card from carrier "Telia" and some instructions on how to activate it.. the problem is: i have the carrier "3" (much better coverage) and i can't seem to use my hardware because it needs to be unlocked/activated by Telia..

3 uses its own software to connect - this software actually sees my mobile broadband card be fail to connect ( I think because Dell's Mobile Broadband software says my hardware needs to be activated).

So what to do? - can I uninstall Dell's Mobile Broadband app? - or will that simply result into the hardware not working at all?

    Any help much appreciated:)

    update:
best advice from dell was to remove the drivers - did so - and it would not regonize the card at all - the drivers wasnt on my support cd - got it from dell.com - does not work - fails at install..

    ..suggestions? - i have the 5530 card.

My 5530 card was supplied without a SIM card, it is unlocked I have used Orange and T-Mobile SIMs in it, the card works with either the DCP software, or the Sony Ericsson Wireless Manager software (GPS didn't work for me with the former, does with the latter).

    ok then...
    3 questions:

    1. how did you "tell" the 5530 NOT to use the DCP software?
    2. where to get sony ericsson wireless manager?
    3. any suggestions on how to install the drivers again? the ones from dell's site do not work :(
