I currently have a Sprint USB modem that works great, but I'm wanting to go with an internal for obvious reasons. However, their website is an absolute failure at pointing out compatibility for this laptop and while I'm sure the 5720 will work, I thought I would ask here.

Also, with one of these cards, will I be forced to use the Dell Connection Manager software for it? Or will the Sprint Smartview software work as well? I'm assuming the Smartview software will need a Sprint tagged card, so I'm thinking no.

I did purchase an older E720 card off of Ebay, after being told it would work fine. Well it doesn't. Dell drivers, nor Sprint drivers are available for it and I finally managed to track down the driver, but I have no connection software for it.
