    Hello!

    I have a DELL M4400 with a FX1700.
    Windows 7 64bits.

I can't extend, clone etc, to an external monitor, when I connect the display thru display port or VGA the main LCD goes black, and the system hangs up and the solution is a hard reboot.

If I boot and immediately close the lid the image goes to the connected external display, but as soon as I open the lid the external display goes black and the system hangs again.

If I enter the bios settings I can change thru displays with the shortcut keys (FN ), it works fine via DP and VGA...

In windows without the drivers I cant change the displays via shortcut and if I connect a monitor nothing happens because external monitors options are not available without the drivers.

I tested the bios versions A24, A26 A29 and the Nvidia latest drivers, the dell nvidia drivers V186 and V189... still the same problem in windows.

    Thanks in advance.

    João Ascenso.
