I have a M4400 and was hoping to use the Express Card Reader to view websites that require PKI Authentication. In order to that, I must logically "import" my PKI certificates to the web browser.

I have spoken to DELL Tech Support and they were unable to help me. After not being able to assist me, they used the "Out of Scoop" Card. So they are no longer any help.

My company issues SMART CARDS with built in PKI Certificates. We usually use http://www.actividentity.com/ which provides an external reader and software to import those PKIs to the web browser. With my new M4400, I was hoping to no longer have to carry along an external card reader.

    QUESTION:
Is there any compatible software that will allow me to accomplish this task?

The M4400 has a built in Smart Card reader so if you have the required software from activeIdentity then I don't see any reason why you would need an external SC reader.

The ActivCard software I have doesn't work with the built in Smart Card Reader.

I think Broadcom is the manufacturer of the smart card reader, yes?
