M4400 Dell Preboot Manager

Hi all,

How do i download the Dell ControlPoint Security Preboot Manager.
I would like to configure the fingerprint scanner to authenticate me on boot by swiping instead of entering the password.

I've looked on dell site, but i do not even see the Embassy Suit download? Where can I download this?

did you reformat your computer? it should be pre installed. anyway if you did reformat, the recovery disks that come with your computer should have it.

but for the latest version, go to the dell drivers page, under support, and its in the applications category as controlpoint security manager. i dont know how you cant see it there?

anyway, to enable preboot authentication you need to open up the embassy security centre application and enable it.

 

Yeah it's on the site, it's just named differently like afhstingray says. Drivers and download page is just as logical and uncorrect sometimes as their configuration pages
