Ok, so hear are clearer pics of my M4400. You can see from the flash pics that the metal material can attract fingerprints, but it is no where as apparent as these pics in real life.

You're like the first person (that I know of) that posted M4400 pictures. That is a beautiful machine, and it looks so well built. And freakishly thin!

Question: do you feel the grills on the sides of the keyboard will get dirty easily? That's going to be terrible. Also - is that an RFID reader next to the touchpad?

Edit: The headphone jack is on the side, unlike the M1530s jack on the front. I just feel better and better about my purchase!

    Wee :D

The key difference isn't by model - the E6400 you link to has a UK keyboard, while the M4400 above has the US keyboard. You'll note many differences about the key layout. Within the same country, both will have the same keyboard.

Oh! I thought the reviewer had a US keyboard. Thanks for clearing that up.

Thanks for these pics. There are many similarities with the E6400 - sensibly Dell has a lot of parts which are common to both.

Also thanks for clarifying over the keyboards. I'm surprised by the sumbstantial change in layout when all that is needed is to add one key.
