I ordered my m4400 with the "Dell Wireless 370 Bluetooth 2.1 Minicard for Latitude E/Mobile Precision" option. It has the little Bluetooth light above the keyboard... although I have no idea if that actually means it was shipped with the bluetooth I ordered.

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to enable bluetooth. I can't find the adapter in Device Manager, and I don't see any keyboard combos to enable it.

Does this mean I didn't get what I ordered? If not... how the hell do I enable bluetooth?

If you turn the unit over and take off the cover, you can check to see if the card is there... holding the unit with the battery towards yourself, the card would be visible in the lower left corner.

In this pic, the Bluetooth card is in the top right corner with the blue antenna wire. If yours looks like this, you have it (pic by Enduct)

Did you check if it's enabled in the BIOS?

I figured it out. Basically, I had to make sure my WiFi switch was on. Once it was on, if I went to the Bluetooth Devices control panel a small bluetooth icon would appear in my system tray. I could then right click the icon and turn on the bluetooth radio.

    No exactly intuitive.

    Thanks for everybody's help.
