    Hi!

I am thinking on purchasing a SP2309W for my M4400 but i don't know if it will fit the E-Port Replicator Plus with the E-Monitor Flat Panel Stand
what I would like to know is if anyone knows if it fits the stand (the monitor is VESA compatible?) and if the 4400 will support the max resolution of the monitor (2048 x 1152) and if I need special cables for this.

    thank you!

Yes I used the chat, but they weren't very helpful, that's what I asked here, anyway I am going to call my rep to see if he knows something or if he can ask for that info.

    Thank you!

Report your thoughts on the SP2309W when it arrives.

Excellent. I look forward to that. One week with my M4400 so far and I am loving it.

Those SP2309's are so darn cheap at delloutlet, I'm tempted to snag a pair of them.

Well I am testing the SP2309W and it's gorgeous (The colors look great), I have two monitors this one and the 1908FPW the M4400 can output to the two monitors with their max resolutions without problems, but I think the 2048x1152 on the SP2309W is really 1920x1200 (or something like that) but It looks excellent very crisp, the real state is great and everything looks very very good.

I am using the two DVI outputs from the E-Port Plus without a problem.

The only thing I didn't like is that they told me the monitor was compatible with the Flat Panel Stand of the E-Port wich is NOT they told me it has VESA mounting thus making it compatible but it is NOT compatible, so I have the 19 in the Flat Panel STand and the SP2309W in it's own stand, it looks good, but I prefer the E-Flat Panel Stand for the E-Port, because the stand for the SP2309W is not that great at moving the display up or down, it can't rotate (I am not using that, but it doesn't have that option)

Well besides that It looks great the glossy surface is not annoying it really is great even with direct sunlight, the colors are fantastic and it doesn't have the humming others have reported, the integrated mics (two) and the webcam worked instantly without the drivers (Vista x64). The webcam is better than the one with the M4400.

The menus are very intuitive and the form factor of the buttons is a novelty (just like the ones on the new Dell Studios)

Overall is a great product, and I am thinking of buying a second one for the XBOX 360 at home

On a side note I bought the speaker bar for the flat panels and they sound very good (not pro, but better than the ones in the M4400) if you are interested in buying the speakers make sure you order the ones with the ac power adapter.

I hope this first impressions help you

    Yup, ditto.
I hooked the SP2309W (which is usually hooked up to the E520) up to the M4400 - no worries, its a great monitor, especially for the price.
