Has anyone attempted to install a 1.8" drive in the wpan/wwan pcie bus? It has the sata contollers. I plan to keep my optical and put the microdrive in pcmcia bay, the pcmcia port needs to come out to make room. I don't use the PC/EC slots. Both the right size 50/54mm. Always need more drives, RAID and SSD. I have a pci-e to sata adapter and a sata data/power-m to microsata-f cable. Will it work? What's the VCC of the pci-e? 5? The microdrive uses 3.3v. Also isn't the pcmcia bus faster? 3.0 G? could I use that? :radar:
