second, now when im booting it get stuck at the beginning of the bar
and i cant turn off the comp unless im pluging-out the battery

also i have the 9 lock light on all the time, what that means?

Have you tried the diagnostics to make sure that the hardware is working? To get to the diagnostics tests, hit F12 on boot up. There should be a selection there.

The 9 lock light can be turned off with Fn key+F4. It means numeric lock is on, and that part of the keyboard is used for entering digits 0 through 9.

I don't think the "9 Lock" light has anything to do with it. There is no Dell diagnostic code with just that on, to my knowledge. You should be able to turn it off (Fn+F4). It turns on automatically at boot, you can disable that from the BIOS.

1] no o.s.??? but why....? not likely on a dell machine
2]checksum errors would be either a low batt on cmos or setup config mismatch. you can reset the bios to default
3] the bar indicator shows that the bios updating, doing delf test , and /or self diagnostic --- if it hangs or really slows down, then it can be a misconfiguration

Did the computer work OK with the OS installation as supplied by Dell?

fn : function button. it says "fn" on the keys with a different color. the color coinsides with the keys woth secondary function / characters that matches the "fn" key color code

if it has checksum error and the bios doesn't wanna boot completely, you need to take out the bottom portion and the batt

reinsert the HD : hard drive - unscrew pull rescrew
reinsert the memory : remove - re insert
check the small coin-like battery. reconnect or try to see if its connected

then put back the back/bottom cover
    put back the battery
    power on

the checksum was when i tried to boot to vista disk

it's worth doing this myself or i should complain the store i bought it yesterday?
    or calling my nbd warranty?

do i need some boot disk/change anything on bios before trying booting into windows install via xista64 boot cd?

and if it stucked at the memory test, says integrity memory check fail and doing noises and lights organ for hour?

I believe the memory is damaged. That can explain the checksum error as well. In that case, you would need to contact the store you bought it at to get a replacement for the broken memory. Maybe (unlikely) it's some other hardware and not the memory, but it most definitely is a hardware issue.
