This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I have my Dell d520 that I've lost the windows password. anybody with an idea how I can reset or bypass it , please help

    While, I do feel for you, our rules (http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/forum-rules.109941/) are very clear on discussions of this nature, so I'll have to lock this thread.

    That being said, it should be relatively easy to find a decent tutorial on how to recover what you need on the web.
