    Hi All,

I am looking at buying a Dell Latitude E5530 as it has 16GB RAM and FHD display.

I want to put Ubuntu on it, and I want to get the 9 Cell battery and Expansion dock Plus.

Will the E5530 and 9 cell battery work on the expansion dock?

What is the H/W support like in Ubuntu? (I know in some regions you can buy it with Ubuntu pre-installed, but it doesn't appear that way in Australia)

    TIA,

    Greg

The E5530 with a 9-Cell will definitely work on any of the E-Series docks. I don't know anything about Ubuntu, though. If you can buy it pre-installed in some areas, it should be fine though.
