Okay so from few days i have lines in screen of my dell e6400 and these lines are really annoying and also my laptop gets heat up quickly (like after 15 minutes after turning it on) but maybe thats because the outer temperature as temperature in my country sometimes goes up to 50 degrees in summers. Well back to those lines can i have the solution to them please?
Here is what i'm seeing on my screen.

my guess would be a issue with the video cable - is causing the lines and the flickering display.

can you test the laptop on an external display

Get the latest intel drivers for your 4500MHD. That is the message of drivers failure.

But also note that the motherboard, screen, cable combination isn't really all that sturdy. I had issues with my Nvidia E6400 display and well, a few times with current ATG.

I would have still put it down to cable from LCD to board and/or LCD especially as the external output is fine

Get a heating gun from harborfreight. It's going out this one.

    or try another lcd.

The circuitry on the lcd of your laptop maybe shot. This happens after twisting or dropping of the unit. The best solution here is to go craigslisting. Find a dell 640m, inspiron 1420, or any 14.1 inch dell or toshiba laptop. You will find many for less than 40 bux requiring repairs, dead motherboard etc. Use the screen from that. You need a 14.1 inch screen with Ccfl backlight, and the only ones compatible will come out of either a dell, sony or toshiba laptop. A screen out of an Hp will give you dim backlight.

You have opened and closed this unit about a thousand times already, could very well be the display cable only.

I second the video cable as the problem - if not it is your LCD screen
