    Hey guys,
I have a latitude XT2, and over the past few days, the pen has started to skip in apps like Windows Journal and OneNote (I use the latter daily). I'm on Windows 8.1 x64, and it was working perfectly up until a few days ago. I've tried new drivers and calibration, but nothing works. It's pretty sporadic too - I'll be writing fine, and out of nowhere the pen won't draw anything or will draw 'dotted' lines, and then it'll come back. Any suggestions?

Doesn't the XT2 pen use batteries, maybe they aren't making good contact or they are nearing the end of their lifespan?

Did you install something new recently, updates, programs, drivers, etc.?

The NTrig displays for the XT and XT2 are batteryless. My pen was broken, and a new one solved the problem.
