Is this because of the difference of Alps vs Synaptics? Needless to say everything is better on the E7440 but the Touchpad makes me feel like moving to i7347. At the same time I am hoping that a new driver could improve the E7440 trackpad...

Any suggestions on this matter would be extremely appreciated!
