Why does it sound like it has 2 lamps ??

AFAIK, all 15.4" WUXGA LCDs have just one lamp :(

Because Dell Germany says it's a "2CCFL" display. The other resolutions are "CCFL" displays.

The UK site says the same:

15.4in Wide Screen WXGA (1280x800) CCFL [Included in Price]
    15.4in Wide Screen WUXGA (1920x1200) 2CCFL [add £143.00 or £5/month-1]
    15.4in Wide Screen WXGA+ (1440x900) with LED backlit [add £83.00 or £3/month-1]

Would love to get that display here is Australia too.

I think they just wrote which type of illumination the display has, not the quantity. The WUXGA definately has 2 CCFLs (which still is a CCFL display) or a RGB-LED-illumination.
