    Hello:

No matter how many times I delete it, a "Dell WebCam Central B" folder appears in my "My Documents" folder each time I reboot.

in "All Programs->Setup" i do not have any Dell items. If I launch the "Dell Webcam Central" Application there are no options to speak of to turn off.

This is harmless but extremely annoying - any help is appreciated!!!

    TIA,
    -John

Yes, it's annoying. I can't see any way to turn it off, I looked in the registry to see if I could change the name/location to somewhere less visible, but no joy.

Can you just make the folder a hidden folder?

I deleted mine and it didn't come back, though I don't think I have opened the Webcam application.

Is the webcam in your taskbar?

I have explorer set to show hidden/system files so that wouldn't work for me, it seems to re-appear without starting the actual webcam app.

Yep, since my Xp re-install I've not bothered with it, the video is a bit darker than before, so I suppose it does *something* but I expect I can compensate for that in whatever apps I actually want to use the camera with ...

Should do, if it removed the drivers you can just add them back separately.
