    Hi
After wake up from stand by mode my system brightness is always set 100%.
Adjustment '-' or '+' brightness in 1 degree returns it to bios values.
    Anyone have similar problem?
latitude e6500, win xp, 1440x900 LED lcd

Had this problem on my refurbished E6400. Solved it by re-seating the display connector. I don't think that worked for some others, though, so your mileage may vary.

I don't think it's connector related problem. After normal booting or reastart brightness values are correct.

Just noticed, if light sensor is on, after wake up brightness is set at 100%, and immediately to light sensor data.

I have the same problem too. I'm tired of being a beta tester.

See if you have the latest dell drivers installed. Also check that you have the newest bios version.
